Guided Canoe Tours depart from Luss Beach, and a fully qualified instructor/guide will lead you on an expedition where participants will enjoy expert tuition, fascinating tour info, local knowledge, and constantly changing scenery.
The scheduled canoe tour is a mixed, public tour and is available for individuals, couples, and small groups
The scheduled canoe tour is available daily at 10:00 and operates for 3 months only, (June, July, August).
The scheduled canoe tour is priced at £65 per canoe, (no minimum group size).
The private canoe tour is an exclusive, private tour and is available for private group bookings.
The private canoe tour is available daily at 10:00, 13:00, or 16:00, and operates for 7 months, (April, May, June, July, August, September, October).
The private canoe tour is priced at £75 per canoe, (minimum 2 canoes).
Advance booking is recommended.
Participant must arrive 30 minutes prior to pre-booked start time.
Participant must complete booking form and waiver.
Participant must be older than 3 years for canoe tours.
Adult supervision is required for under 18’s.
Participant must weigh less than 18 stone (114kg).
Our staff members are trained to a high standard and hold all relevant safety certificates and industry qualifications.
All safety guidelines, instructions and regulations from Loch Lomond Tours staff are compulsory and must be observed at all times.
All safety equipment issued by Loch Lomond Tours staff is compulsory and must be used at all times.
All passengers will be supplied with life jackets, which is compulsory for your extra comfort and safety.
All persons participate in tours at their own risk, and it is the responsibility of all participants that they have understood all safety guidelines, instructions, and regulations.
Q. When do I need to arrive for my Canoe Tour booking?
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your pre-booked time slot.
Q. Do I need to book in advance?
Advance booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Q. Are there any age restrictions?
Minimum age for canoe tours is 3 years old.
Under 18’s must be supervised by an adult.
Q. I have never done this activity before. Will there be someone to show me what to do?
Yes. An experienced member of staff will be on hand to provide you with a demonstration and safety briefing on your chosen activity.
Q. Do I have to wear a life jacket?
Yes. Life jackets are supplied and must be worn at all times for your safety regardless of age or ability. We have adult, child and infant sizes.
Q. Are there changing facilities?
Yes. We have on-site changing facilities at our locations.
Q. I don’t own my own wetsuit. Can I hire one?
Yes. We provide wetsuit hire and offer sizes for adults and children. The price is £5.00 per wetsuit for the duration of your activity and is payable on the day. Wetsuits are also available for full-day and long-term hire; please contact our team for more information.
What you need to bring:

Life Jacket [supplied for your comfort and safety and must be worn at all times]
Wetsuit [available to hire on the day for £5.00]
For various reasons Loch Lomond Tours reserve the right to cancel any boat tours, activities and events including, but not limited to, for the following reasons:
Weather
Cancellation due to inclement weather is rare and will be decided at the sole discretion of Loch Lomond Tours
This decision to cancel will be based on safety grounds and will only happen in the event of extreme weather conditions. We do not cancel due to rain or cold.
Lateness
In the event of late arrival by participants, we reserve the right to cancel or to cut short any or all tours and activities without refund.
Please note that it is the sole responsibility of all participants to arrive on time for tours and activities. Travel problems, road closures and other such factors are not the responsibility of Loch Lomond Tours.
Other
In the event of non-compliance with Loch Lomond Tours staff then boat tours and activities will be terminated without refund.
We reserve the right to refuse participation to any person for any reason and one such example would be any person who appears to be under the excessive influence of alcohol or drugs.
With regards to cancellation: if the customer chose to cancel for any reason then there is no refund and any payments are forfeited. If Loch Lomond Tours choose to cancel then, save in respect of default of the customer or the booking party, we would offer an alternative date.
Payments are non-transferable and non-refundable. If a client chooses to cancel their booking, then the client will forfeit the Payments.
Exclusions
Loch Lomond Tours will endeavour to run all activities as strictly to schedule as possible but we do reserve the right to alter price and departure times
Loch Lomond Tours accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of property.
Insurance
Loch Lomond Tours are both licensed and insured. We hold public liability insurance and third party insurance up to £5,000,000.
All Loch Lomond Tours activities are run to the highest possible standards; however, all participants should recognise that all outdoor activities involve some element of risk. Participation in all tours and activities is on the understanding that participants accept this risk
